03/12/2024 – Agents of the 32nd BPM apprehended two teenagers with a load of drugs on Rua Secretario Salo Brand, in the Visconde de Araújo neighborhood, on Tuesday (03/12). The duo, aged 15 and 16, were approached while trying to flee from the team. During the personal search, the agents found several portions of crack and marijuana, as well as money and a cell phone.

04/12/2024 – The Civil Police arrested two men accused of drug trafficking on Wednesday afternoon (04/12) in the Cajueiros neighborhood. After intelligence and monitoring work, agents identified a drug sales point in the region and approached the suspects. With them, they found cocaine and marijuana, as well as cell phones and cash. They confessed to working for the Friends of Friends (ADA) faction.
10/12/2024 – The body of a 35-year-old man was found on Tuesday morning (10/12) on Avenida Santos Moreira, near Morro da Viúva, in the Miramar neighborhood. The cause of death, according to a preliminary report from the Forensic Medical Institute (IML), was external bleeding due to a cutting injury in the neck.
14/12/2024 – A 30-year-old man, a fugitive from justice in Espírito Santo for drug trafficking, was arrested on Saturday afternoon (14/12) at Imbetiba Beach. During a routine patrol, agents of the Macaé Presente program approached the suspect and his father, who were using narcotics. Upon consulting the system, the police found that the man had an open arrest warrant for drug trafficking.
15/12/2024 – An operation by the Military Police resulted in the arrest of a woman suspected of drug trafficking in the Cajueiros neighborhood, on Sunday afternoon (15/12), on Jandira Perlingeiro Street. During patrols in the region, military police observed a woman in a suspicious attitude. Upon noticing the presence of the vehicle, she tried to flee. When she approached, a plastic bag containing marijuana, crack, money, and a cell phone was found.
16/12/2024 – Agents of the 123rd Precinct arrested a 34-year-old man accused of raping a vulnerable person in the Parque Aeroporto neighborhood on Monday afternoon (16/12). According to information from the Civil Police, the victim’s mother, a 12-year-old girl, went to the police station to report the crime. According to the report, the suspect would have doped his stepdaughter to perform the sexual act.
17/12/2024 – Three drug dealers were arrested in Parque Aeroporto, on Tuesday afternoon (17/12), during an operation carried out by the Civil Police of the 123rd DP. During the operation, the police seized 1,097 bottles of poppers and 1,017 wrappers of cocaine, as well as cell phones and money from drug trafficking.
19/12/2024 – Agents of the Present Security Program arrested a man with an open arrest warrant for homicide, on Thursday afternoon (19/12), in the Center. The arrest occurred during patrol, when the police approached two individuals on a motorcycle that was traveling without wearing a helmet, a traffic violation. During the approach, the police carried out a query in the system and found that one of the occupants of the motorcycle was wanted by the courts.
23/12/2024 – A joint operation between the Military Police and the Civil Police resulted in arrests and seizures of drugs and weapons in Serra de Macaé, on Monday (23/12). The action aimed to comply with arrest warrants and search and seizure issued by the Court. During it, the police arrested five suspects and a pistol, with a magazine and ammunition, marijuana, hashish, material for drug packaging, a cloned car, and R$ 2,100 in cash.
23/12/2024 – Agents of the 123rd Police Precinct (123rd DP) arrested a 20-year-old woman in the Favela da Linha on Monday afternoon (23/12). According to the Civil Police, the woman was investigated for drug trafficking and targeted the community influenced by the ADA faction. During the approach, agents seized a large quantity of cocaine.

- After dark, avoid Glória and the Centro (Downtown).
- After dark, avoid walking alone in Praia Campista and Cavaleiros.
- Avoid Lagomar, Barra de Macaé, Engenho da Praia, Planalto da Ajuda, Ajuda de Cima, Ajuda de Baixo, Morro de Santana and Morro de São Jorge (in Paraíso), Fronteira, Jardim Maringá, Barra, Nova Holanda, Malvinas, Botafogo, Aroeira, Parque Aeroporto and the surroundings of Favela da Linha (in between Visconde de Araújo and Cajueiros), as risks of collateral damage and assault are high in these areas.
- As much as possible, restrict movement in the districts of Novo Horizonte (in Vale Encantado) and Parque Aeroporto. Do not walk alone in these areas and use only licensed taxis.
- Be careful when walking downtown, avoid exposing valuables.
- Be always cautious, including in areas perceived as safe.
- Avoid any display of wealth (jewelry, cell phones), but always carry a small amount of money (R$50) to hand.
