23/08/2024 – Two men, aged 26 and 44, were arrested for robbing a house in Santos. The Civil Police said they had identified a third criminal, 25, and reported that the trio was part of a gang that robbed homes in the city. The case happened on the morning of last Friday (23), on Saturnino de Brito Street, in the Marapé neighborhood. According to the Civil Police, two suspects entered the property announcing the robbery, but one of the victims managed to call the PM. When agents arrived, two criminals fled in a car, but a 44-year-old gang member was arrested near the residence. The second suspect was then arrested in the Rádio Clube neighborhood. The third suspect remains at large despite having been identified.

24/08/2024 – The 4th Riot Police Battalion (BPChq) seized, on Saturday (24), a large quantity of cocaine base paste stuck to the hull of a ship in the Port of Santos. According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), agents used a robot submarine to monitor vessels moored at the pier during an underwater operation, which began last Friday (23). The ship used to transport the narcotics left Argentina and was bound for Spain. The agents entered the internal galleries of the ship’s hull and found five wrappers, with 93 tablets of the drug, totaling 114kg of drugs.
27/08/2024 – A gang specialized in money laundering, financial fraud, and concealment of illicit assets was the target of Operation Candy Shop, carried out on Tuesday (27) by the 4th Cybercrime Precinct (DCCiber), in Santos, São Vicente, and Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo, in addition to the capital of São Paulo. Two vehicles valued at approximately R$ 330,000 were seized. According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), agents served 11 search and seizure warrants. In addition to the luxury vehicles, four watches, six cell phones, three notebooks, and R$ 33.2,000 in cash were seized.
