05/04/2024 – A motorcycle was robbed in Vila Andrade, South SP and the pursuit ended in one killed in the Paraisópolis slum. According to the Police, a patrol was called to check a carjacking on a motorcycle a few streets from the slum. Another patrol found the bandits on two stolen motorcycles. After a pursuit, as the two suspects fell from their vehicle, one of them just ran away, but the other opened fire on the officers who replied. Participants of a funk party tried to protest the action, but the cops shot pepper grenades to disperse the crowd.

06/04/2024 – A young woman was violently assaulted by a Police Officer in Luz, the historical center of SP. The scene was recorded by a passing by and shows the officer threatening the victim and slapping her in the face. According to the Public Security Secretary, the officer was removed from the street service during the investigation.
07/04/2024 – A bandit stole cars in Higienópolis, West SP. The scene was caught by security cameras of the district: he walked quietly in the streets of the neighborhood, noticed some cars, and broke their windows to steal what was inside. According to residents of the neighborhood, the man would be a regular of the area.
09/04/2024 – SP Public Ministry arrested bus company CEOs for suspected links with First Capital Command (PCC). The investigation pointed out that the companies were used to launder money for the gang. In one of the suspects’ houses, the detectives found various weapons, cash, and jewelry. In all, the operation needed the action of more than 300 cops to serve 52 warrants in SP and other cities of the State.
09/04/2024 – A man killed an architect, burnt his house, and stole his dog in Vila Sônia, South SP. The crime occurred on 30/03, and the firemen considered a simple arson. However, the Civil Police found that the fire was criminal to cover the architect’s death, and arrested the suspect. He confessed to the crime and said they had a relationship. According to the detectives, the man was driving the victim’s car and used his credit card. He also stole the architect’s dog and gave it to his mother.
