In response, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) has pledged to reinforce preventive patrols and reorient police strategies toward high-traffic areas to curb the trend.

After picking the lock and arriving in a white vehicle, the group held the residents and a domestic worker hostage for approximately 20 minutes while they ransacked the property. Although the victims managed to alert the authorities, the criminals fled with a sum of cash just before the Military Police arrived, and no arrests have been made so far.
