10/03/2025 – A teenager involved in drug trafficking was apprehended in the Cajueiros neighborhood on Monday (10/03). Spotted by police during a routine patrol, he attempted to flee before being caught with cocaine and cannabis in his possession.
10/03/2025 – One of the leaders of drug trafficking in Macaé was arrested during a police operation on Monday (10/03), in the Bela Vista neighborhood. He attempted to escape by jumping between rooftops and walls but was captured by officers. During his arrest, he tried to discard a bag containing 195 doses of cocaine. Another individual was also arrested with narcotics.
14/03/2025 – A criminal gang from São Paulo, specializing in burglaries targeting homes and businesses in southeastern Brazil, was arrested on Friday (14/03) following an investigation by the Civil Police of Macaé. The operation began after a Chinese merchant reported a burglary at his residence, with R$ 15,000 stolen. The suspects were tracked from São Paulo to Contagem, Minas Gerais, where local police, apprehended three members of the group.
18/03/2025 – On Tuesday (18/03), Military Police officers conducted an operation in Favela da Linha, after receiving reports of drug trafficking in the area. Upon arrival, several suspects attempted to flee. One man was arrested and found in possession of drugs, a cell phone, and cash.
20/03/2025 – A woman was arrested on Thursday (20/03) in the Lagomar neighborhood for scamming an elderly neighbor by making unauthorized financial transactions in his name. The victim, who is semi-illiterate, discovered irregularities in his account and reported the fraud to the police. Investigations revealed that the suspect had been transferring funds and taking out loans in his name since December 2024.
20/03/2025 – A woman was arrested on Thursday (20/03) for carrying out fraudulent Pix transactions. The investigation began after a bakery owner reported receiving a fake payment confirmation for a cake order. Authorities discovered that the suspect had used falsified Pix receipts in previous purchases. She was arrested in the Lagomar neighborhood.
21/03/2025 – A joint traffic enforcement operation was conducted on Friday (21/03), in the Bela Vista neighborhood, by Urban Mobility agents and Military Police to enhance road safety and crack down on dangerous driving behaviors. The action specifically targeted motorcyclists performing illegal stunts on public roads prohibited by the Brazilian Traffic Code. Three motorcycles were seized after their riders were caught maneuvering wheelies.
25/03/2025 – During a police operation on Tuesday (25/03) in the Favela da Linha, two men were arrested after attempting to flee during a patrol. Officers set up a tactical perimeter and captured the suspects inside the community. They were found with crack rocks, cocaine pouches, and cash.
