19/08/2022 – The body of a 66-year-old man was found at a bus stop on Avenida Martins Fontes, in front of the Philosophy Cemetery, in the Saboó neighborhood. According to the Civil Police, a team was triggered to attend to the occurrence and upon arriving at the address found the elderly man lifeless.

21/08/2022 – A 20-year-old man was shot and killed during a shooting with officers from the Special Actions Battalion (Baep) in Morro Santa Maria. According to the Military Police (PM), the shooting took place on Rua Sete. The PM and the State Secretary for Public Security (SSP-SP) did not say under what circumstances the man was shot.
23/08/2023 – A car robbery incident ended up with one person dead and the wall of a house destroyed in the Jardim Castelo neighborhood. A 17-year-old teenager, accused of stealing the vehicle, was shot by the Military Police, and taken to the hospital, but did not resist. According to the State Secretariat for Public Security (SSP), military police were on routine patrol when they saw a couple being forcibly removed from a vehicle by two men. The criminals tried to flee but ended up hitting a wall.
23/08/2023 – Federal Police, in a joint action with the Federal Revenue, seized 247 kilos of cocaine that were hidden in the hull of a ship in the Port of Santos. According to the Federal Police, the ship was undergoing an inspection, when suspicious volumes were located in the compartment called ‘sea chest’, in the ship’s hull. The ship was bound for Morocco.
