The perpetrators fled with jewelry, electronics, and a registered .380-caliber Imbel pistol containing 18 rounds of ammunition, leaving one resident injured with head and wrist wounds requiring IML forensic examination. 05/09/2026 – On Saturday (5), municipal sanitation workers performing street cleaning discovered an unidentified body wrapped in a black plastic bag and bound with ropes on Rua Contos Gauchescos in Jabaquara, South Zone. During the foot pursuit, the suspect and one officer fought, prompting a second officer to open fire; the suspect later died from his injuries at M’Boi Mirim Municipal Hospital.
