24/10/2025 – Intense Gang War Between CV and TCP in Tijuca. At least 40 heavily armed traffickers from Comando Vermelho attempted to invade the Casa Branca community, controlled by rival faction Terceiro Comando Puro, triggering a massive shootout in Tijuca, Zona Norte, on the night of Friday (24). The attack was retaliation for an October 5 incident when armed criminals opened fire on a tire shop near Casa Branca, killing two people. Residents reported hours of intense gunfire, including assault rifles and grenade explosions, with burning barricades visible across the neighborhood. Many residents compared the scene to a “war zone,” with one stating it was the first time in 25 years that a bullet entered their home.
