Investigations conducted by the 123rd Police District revealed that the suspect led an illegal group that systematically extorted local alternative transport drivers, threatening them with violence and forcing them to pay fees to operate in the area. Officers transferred the suspect into custody while encouraging the public to submit confidential tips regarding militia activities in the region.

08/09/2026 – On Tuesday (8), a 70-year-old man attacked his 37-year-old daughter during an argument at their residence in the Parque Aeroporto neighborhood, tearing her blouse, pulling her hair, punching her head and face, and kicking her repeatedly once she fell to the floor. The victim immediately reported the assault to law enforcement, prompting officers from the 123rd Police District to locate and arrest the father in the same neighborhood. Police booked the suspect in flagrante under the Maria da Penha Law (Lei Maria da Penha) for domestic and family violence.
09/09/2026 – On Wednesday (9), four men and a teenager were caught operating a drug trafficking setup in the Bela Vista neighborhood. Officers from the 123rd Police District targeted the location following an intelligence operation, finding the group inside a support structure with a backpack containing narcotics, cash, and drug ledgers. Police seized the illicit materials and transferred the suspects to the 123rd Police District, where the four adults were booked for drug trafficking and association for trafficking, while the adolescent was detained under statutory juvenile procedures.
